Privacy Policy – Social Media Insights Extension

• The extension processes user-selected social media profiles and posts, including:
  • Public profile names and usernames
  • Biographies and locations
  • Captions, post dates, and links
  • Engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares)
• Analysis records, generated reports, settings, and any optional YouTube API key are stored locally through Chrome storage. Hands in Technology does not operate a server that receives these reports.
• When the user enables optional website analysis:
  • The extension requests access only to the website selected by the user
  • Temporarily reads up to three public pages
  • Clears the raw page text after the analysis
• The extension does not:
  • Sell user data
  • Use data for advertising
  • Transfer data to third-party brokers
  • Use data for unrelated purposes or determine creditworthiness
• Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide the extension’s user-facing analysis features and is handled in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
• Users may remove locally stored extension data by:
  • Clearing analysis sessions
  • Removing the saved YouTube API key
  • Uninstalling the extension
